Love and Hate by Pramit
Man, it’s been a looooong ass time since my last blog post. So, let’s start the shit again.
Now, this is a very silly old drawing, I did in 2012.
I think, love and hate is something that comes and goes. Happiness is momentary. And humans are never truly happy of whatever they get, achieve or accomplish.
The secret isn’t really hidden. As some Buddhists say, “You have to quite that monkey brain”.
Because they didn’t submit to the Capitalist regime of instant-continuous growth. I just saw yesterday, somebody was talking about Universal Healthcare. Now, that is political and social question. See, if everyone gets healthcare, obviously the prices have to go down. (Increased exposure means lower prices. Same as electronics and phones)
But at the same time, do you really want every dying person(who’ll inevitably die) spend your tax money. I’m not against their lives here. I’m just not sure that it solves any problem for the mass.
People who’ve known some history, will tell you, the positives of all social changes have hidden negatives with them. The rise of the human population results in the reduction in the population of earlier stronger species like rhinos, lions and wolves. And definitely, plants.
I’m sorry to say, but our world is a zero sum equation. One’s happiness is another’s grief. So, remember that next time, when you talk about happy growth.
