Life-Time Issue 2 page 1 panel 1
In July, this year, I had both put out Life-Time Issue 2(created by me) and finished working on the masked Vigilante series “Rakshak Issue 4”, written by Shamik Dasgupta. I’ve almost done 250+ pages for Yali Dream Creations(Rakshak) and it’s been a great run since Jan 20 2016, when I started there. I think, more than how talented you are, comics industry needs artists who are reliable to finish a work. It also comes with various problems. Some people are amazingly talented but can’t manage time and then some are like me, who don’t care much about talent but understand time.
I think, my sense of timing comes from creating something as “Life-Time” series. The theory is simple , life is vast, humans are small. We are nothing more than a drop in a big tank. So, why create problems for each other? Doing something too much creative takes time and even if you do so, in current industrial atmosphere, you may not be awarded that way. So, why care? Do the job as good as you can and leave the rest to the other players. Solve life problems without creating even more unnecessary fuss.
Life-Time Issue 2 is out
I keep thinking of putting Life-Time as a tpb, but again who’s gonna buy a story with only half the clues and story? So, may be in next few years, after issues 3 & 4, I’ll try putting a book in market, pay somebody to take it to cons or find a helping hand but not now. Upto Issue 4, I think, the image will start looking better. The story will be more acceptable for a reader.
